Learning and Development Specialist

Are you passionate about developing others and love seeing people thrive? We're seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to lead the design and delivery of practical, high-impact learning programs implementing and continuously improving Fyfe's learning and development framework, ensuring that training and development plans are aligned with strategic business objectives. You will combine administration, Human Resources, and instructional design to drive a culture of learning and performance improvement across the organisation.

Key priorities include leadership development, onboarding uplift and capability framework alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy annual Employee Engagement Survey and facilitate employee and leader workshops to progress agreed engagement initiatives
• Working with the HRBPs to ensure annual talent and succession workshops are facilitated across the group and plans are in place to address current and future capability requirements
• Partner with leaders and technical specialists to identify learning and development needs, ensuring all employees across the group have individual development plans in place
• Develop and deliver a cohesive L&D strategy and annual learning plan aligned to organisational priorities
• Design and facilitate blended learning solutions, including workshops, eLearning, coaching, and peer learning
• Establish and support leadership development and coaching initiatives
• Maintain and enhance onboarding and early-career development programs
• Promote a strong learning culture through annual lunch and learn program of work that supports organisational change and continuous improvement

About you

• 5+ years' experience in a learning and development role, ideally within professional services environment (exposure working within Engineering Consultancies highly desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver L&D initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision
• Confident facilitator with strong instructional design capability across virtual and face-to-face settings
• Able to build credibility with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Organisational Development, Adult Education, Psychology, or a related discipline
• Practical, curious, and delivery-oriented, with an appreciation for governance and risk
