The opportunity
Fyfe is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support our planning teams delivering strategic growth projects. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of a further 6-month extension.
You will coordinate project information, schedules, actions, deliverables and reporting while supporting planners, modellers and technical specialists. This role is ideal for a highly organised coordinator who can work across multiple workstreams, maintain accurate records and proactively follow up actions, risks and dependencies.
What you'll do
- Coordinate project delivery: Support day-to-day administration across water and wastewater strategic planning projects.
- Manage meetings and actions: Coordinate agendas, minutes, workshops, reviews and action tracking.
- Maintain project controls: Track milestones, schedules, expenditure, accruals, forecasts, deliverables and status reporting.
- Support contract administration: Assist with consultant engagements, invoice reviews, variations and extension documentation.
- Manage documents and records: Maintain clear project correspondence, approvals, registers and information management records.
- Keep work progressing: Identify emerging delays, dependencies and issues and escalate them appropriately.
About you
- At least 5 years' experience in project coordination, project administration or a similar role
- Strong organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills
- Experience coordinating multiple projects, tasks or workstreams simultaneously
- Experience with schedules, registers, reporting and document management
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with water utility systems will be highly regarded
