About the role
Fyfe is looking for a high-impact Project Support Officer to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion along with providing administrative support to our project teams. This role serves as a strategic partner, trusted advisor, and operational facilitator, managing complex administrative functions while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
This business moves fast, therefore the operational staff requirements can and will differ from time to time and the ability to pivot quickly, work well under pressure and be adaptable is necessary.
We are recruiting for a Project Support Officer for our Environmental Team, to be based in our Philippines team and work remotely to support our staff and clients in Australia. The successful candidate will be hired by our partner agency in the Philippines.
Skills & experience
- Comprehensive project support services spanning coordination, logistics, stakeholder management, and end‑to‑end administrative oversight
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs
- Extract and manage datasets from project management systems, acting as the central link to ensure consistent, accurate, and reconcilable data
- Interpret and transform large, complex datasets into meaningful and actionable insights; proficiency in financial reporting, accounts, and methodologies is advantageous
- Anticipate issues and proactively resolve administrative or logistical challenges
Requirements:
To fulfil the requirements of this role you have high attention to detail and can demonstrate your analytical skills and passion for reporting and analysis, along with:
- Ability to quickly learn project management systems
- Strong financial modelling capability with advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills; experience with Power BI,
- Confident communicator with the ability to educate and influence non-financial stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to perform effectively in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility, initiative, proactivity and autonomy
