Our client, a distinguished financial institution. They are looking for a high-caliber candidate to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the trade, settlement, and clearing processes for a diverse range of listed products in global markets, including equity, futures, options, and stock options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the trade execution process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of all trades
  • Work closely with the back office team to reconcile trades and ensure proper settlement and clearing
  • Monitor and report on trade activity, identifying any discrepancies or issues and taking appropriate action to resolve them
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external parties, such as brokers and custodians, to facilitate efficient trade execution and settlement
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and implement improvements as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and market trends, and make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies
  • Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in middle office operations, preferably in a financial institution
  • Strong understanding of trade execution, settlement, and clearing processes for listed products
  • Knowledge of global markets and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with trade management systems
  • Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
