About FuntoNetwork
Our Technical Specialist practice embeds elite engineers into client organizations to solve their most challenging technical problems. These individuals are recognized experts in their domain, combining deep product knowledge with strong communication skills and a consultancy mindset. As a Spring Boot Technical Specialist, you will be trusted to make critical architectural decisions, conduct design reviews, and elevate the overall engineering capability of the client team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a 15+ year veteran with unparalleled expertise in Spring Boot and the Java ecosystem to join a high‑performing team modernizing a mission‑critical financial platform. You will work alongside architects, developers, and DevOps engineers to define and implement best practices for Spring Boot microservices, container orchestration on OpenShift, event streaming with Kafka, and polyglot persistence (MongoDB + Oracle) . You will champion Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) and leverage AI tools (Git Copilot) to accelerate development. This role requires a hands‑on contributor who is comfortable coding, debugging, and prototyping, not just diagramming. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will interface with client leadership and present technical recommendations.
