  • PURPOSE OF THE POSITION.

    The operations manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. They will ensure efficient and effective use of resources, coordinate various departments, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and profitability.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
    • Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Coordinate with department heads to align operations and foster collaboration.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal policies.
    • Manage and optimize resource allocation, including staff, equipment, and finances.
    • Implement quality control measures to maintain consistent service delivery.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to make informed decisions.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching and professional development opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in business management or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an operations Manager or in a similar role.
    • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in using computer software and tools for operations management.
    • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
