Summary of the Role: The Catalog Manager will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex catalog issues on Amazon for our clients. This role involves managing product listings, optimizing backend attributes, and ensuring that our client's products are categorized and visible in the optimal locations. The Catalog Manager will work closely with team members and clients, leveraging tools like flat files and collaborating with Amazon Seller Support when necessary.
Top 3-5 Responsibilities:
- Fix Broken Product Listings:
- Measure Success: All tasks related to fixing broken product listings are tracked in Asana with a 48-hour Service Level Agreement (SLA). The success is determined by the high solution rate rather than the activity rate.

- Add New Product Listings and Build/Update Variations:
Measure Success: Accurate and timely addition of new listings
and variations. Success is measured by the proper categorization and visibility of products within the correct Amazon browse nodes/GL/category alignment.
- Optimize Backend Attributes for Increased Visibility:
Measure Success: Increased visibility of products through
optimized backend attributes, tracked by monitoring key
performance indicators (KPIs) related to search and category
rankings.
- Assist with Resolving Account Health Issues:
Measure Success: Effective resolution of account health issues
as documented in client feedback and Amazon account metrics.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Experience Requirements:
Must have extensive experience as a Catalog Manager, ideally within a
large Amazon agency.Demonstrated ability to resolve complex catalog issues independently.
Strong background in using flat files and working with Amazon Seller
Support.Experience in managing and optimizing Amazon listings across
multiple categories.

Ninja-level Problem Solving: Ability to swiftly diagnose and resolve
catalog issues.Proactive Visibility Optimization: Strong ability to enhance product visibility with minimal guidance.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both for
internal team
collaboration and client interaction.
Working Hours:
Initial part-time period: 20 hours/week
After 1-2 months: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Start Time: Flexible, but full-time requires availability for weekly calls at
9 AM or 10 AM EST.End Time: Flexible, generally ending by 10 AM EST.
Location: Remote (Work from home)
Compensation:
Salary: $600 for the first month (20 hours/week). If a good fit, transition
to full-time after 90 days at $1,000/month (40 hours/week).Bonuses: Available; specifics will be determined.

A performance-driven mindset with a history of increasing product
visibility on Amazon.Ability to proactively manage and resolve complex issues.
Agency experience is preferred due to exposure to diverse product
