We are looking for a long term nanny for a lovely family who are based in Maida Vale. The family have one little girl who is presently 6 months old and will be a year old in January 2025.

There are a couple of options with this role as below.

 1. The role will be five days a week 8am-6/6.30pm in January but the family would love if someone could start on 2 or 3 days a week earlier than this - maybe September when everyone is back from holidays - in this case the hours would be more like 10am-5.30/6pm. However, this is not essential and it is fine if the nanny would prefer to just babysit every week or so in order to get to know this little girl before starting the permanent full time role.

2 the family are happy to consider a temporary nanny 2 or 3 days a week Sept- December 2024  before starting a separate permanent FT person in January 2025

This family are predominately looking for a kind gentle, warm and caring nanny, who would become like part of the family. They would like someone to engage and stimulate this little girl and to be aware of the developmental milestones and activities to encourage these. Minimal nursery duties only. no travel needed and no driving. As English is not this families first language a good standard of reading/ spoken English is required.  This family are happy to pay a good market rate. The parents are looking for someone who will stay very long term and would like to see this reflected on applicants CVs with great recent references from working as a sole charge nanny in a private home
