About the role

This position is accountable for the development and implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and ERP solutions, including Fujitsu's own ISV solutions. The role exists primarily to provide technical consultancy, architect, develop, set up and install environments, customer interfacing, issue analysis and resolution development, pre-sales activity and ongoing product support to medium businesses within the Australian and New Zealand market. Provide estimates and demonstrations for new business and new customer opportunities.

This role could be based in East coast of Australia or New Zealand and offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The key responsibilities and associated duties of the position fall into the following main areas:

  • Design, develop, customise, and integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and ERP solutions.
  • Lead technical delivery: task planning, code reviews, unit testing, and team guidance.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation and support system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Configure environments (cloud/on‑prem), manage installations, and support third‑party add‑ons (Continia, Power BI, Jet Reports, etc.).
  • Evaluate new Microsoft releases, tools, and extensions.
  • Support legacy NAV versions and maintain development/demo environments.
  • Contribute to Fujitsu ISV product development and technical design.
  • Assist pre‑sales with estimates, demos, site visits, and solution evaluations.
  • Provide integration expertise (Power Platform, CRM, web services, .NET, DevOps).
  • Ensure quality standards, testing, and accurate project costing inputs.
  • Consult across enterprise systems and build strong customer relationships.

The Dynamics Business Central and ERP Developer will also carry out other duties as may be specified from time to time by the Business Solutions Manager

Required Skills and Experience

Desired Experience and technical qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven years software development skills
  • A minimum of seven years experience working successfully in a Microsoft Dynamics ERP software implementation role
  • A minimum of four years Microsoft Dynamics Architecture skills

Required Technical Skills:

  • Architecture: REST, SOA,
  • Platforms: SQL, Azure, AWS
  • Development: C#, .NET, HTML5, CSS, javascript, Visual Studio, CAL, AL, API handling, Web services
  • Experience delivery and support Tools including: Jira, SOAP UI, Postman, Powershell,
  • Solutions: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/ERP, Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Power BI
  • Unit testing and peer review

Desired Technical Skills:

  • Development: Github/DevOps, Boomi
  • Microsoft Unit test automation
  • ISV: experience in ISV product development and maintenance
  • Installation and integration of third party and other Microsoft applications including Power BI, Continia, Jet Reports, reporting services, CRM integration (Microsoft and Salesforce), Web portal integration, Power Apps, SharePoint
  • Maintaining accreditation for current Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Release Level and/or online Microsoft training
  • A working knowledge of accounting, costing, general business processes and the functions performed by ERP applications
  • Technical understanding of the components of general ERP systems – including financials, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, reporting, projects
  • Experience in industry sectors including primary, utilities, manufacturing
