About the role
The Onsite Technician provides customer‑focused Level 1–2 onsite support across end‑user devices, applications, and peripherals. The role includes troubleshooting operating systems, Fujitsu‑supported software, hardware, smart devices, and inducting new users on basic IT tools.
You'll develop strong knowledge of the customer environment and build collaborative relationships to enable continual service improvement. Supported by Fujitsus Staff Enablement Model, you'll apply sound judgment, communicate professionally, and take initiative in daily service delivery.
This role can be based in Canberra, Paramatta, Villawood, Sydney, Darwin, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth. Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Deliver Level 1–2 end‑user support across hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
- Resolve incidents/SRs within SLAs and maintain accurate ITSM and CMDB records.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.
- Identify service‑improvement opportunities and support training for end users and Service Desk.
- Contribute to improvement plans, projects, and root‑cause remediation.
Required Skills and Experience
- You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA Baseline Security clearance, NV1 is preferred.
- 6 months experience with supporting End User Devices at level 1+ this can be remote support preferred. Candidates without prior experience may still be considered, as comprehensive training is available through our apprenticeship program.
- Level 1 and level 2 technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals
- Level 1 and level 2 technical knowledge of desktop & software applications
- Demonstrated entry level or basic working knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and network equipment
- Candidates without prior experience may still be considered, as comprehensive training is available through our apprenticeship program.
