We are seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect with experience in designing and governing complex Azure-based solutions within a federal government environment, playing a critical role within the on-going management and alignment of technology with policy and security standards.

About the role

The Lead Enterprise Architect is a senior account position, responsible for providing enterprise and solution architecture leadership to key customers. This role requires deep expertise in designing and governing custom solutions, with a strong emphasis on identity management, security, and compliance.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, leading technical governance activities and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Maintain and oversee the enterprise architecture, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical oversight and consultancy to ensure managed services and operational environment align with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement an architecture roadmap that supports business transformation, innovation and develops future account pipeline.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks within the customer environment.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance identity security.
  • Assist in presenting new and existing Fujitsu capabilities to the customer, demonstrating how emerging technologies and innovations can drive value and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding Fujitsu's engagement across the customer base and the wider industry.
  • Proactively contribute through architecture, to strengthening Fujitsu's relationship with the customer and the retention and growth of the account.

About you

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a senior IT architect or consultant architect, with expertise in enterprise and solution architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and governing complex Azure-based solutions, particularly within Federal Government environments.
  • Experience in delivery of critical web services with high performance transaction processing.
  • Strong understanding of Australian government security frameworks
  • Extensive Experience in architecture methodologies.
  • Broad knowledge across multiple IT domains, including cloud computing, networking, data management, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with senior government officials.
  • Experience leading technical teams and driving architecture initiatives across large-scale environments.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  • Minimum NV1 clearance. NV2 preferred.
