We are seeking a dynamic, Senior Technical Lead with an AGSVA security clearance to provide chargeable services to clients in developing industry-specific systems mostly aligned to projects, consulting assignments, building, and installing turnkey business solutions.

This role requires a blend of technical, commercial and consulting skills.

Main Technologies: These technologies include but are not limited to:

  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Primarily Azure, including knowledge of AWS) and services, including virtualisation and containerisation.
  • Networking: Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
  • Security: Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements related to cloud and virtual environments.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages, utilisation of Azure DevOps for automation of deployments and management tasks.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Ability to implement monitoring solutions and optimise performance across virtual environments.
  • Citrix Product Knowledge: Understanding of Citrix solutions like Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, Citrix Workspace, and Citrix Cloud services.

About you

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define architecture solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies that enhance performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including design specifications and implementation plans.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards within cloud environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to support and operations teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure cloud environments.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies.
  • Create and maintain working relationship with other technical, security and business teams.
  • Provide on-call support for after-hours emergencies and critical outages, in rotation with other team members.
  • Lead and operate within the context of an established strategic direction and vision.
  • Managing and mentoring (where necessary) a team of consultants.
  • Deliver to Fujitsu's Integrated Management System.

Requirements:

  • NV1 Security Clearance
  • 6 - 10 years of experience in business management, IT, systems integration consulting, design, coupled with a tertiary qualification.
  • 2+ years experience in consulting, engagement/project management, and/or business and resource management.
  • Specialist knowledge of many industries or segments, coupled with strong analytical skills.
  • Recognised as leading expert in specialty areas.
  • Can adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies to new uses.
  • Analysis, communication, presentation ability.
  • Scheduling and strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
