We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide services to our client by managing, coordinating and motivating the relevant Project team to ensure successful execution of all defined program deliverables within budget and schedule constraints. Delivery of these programs of work will be managed through agile methodologies, with the successful respondent able to transfer knowledge and skills in this area to the Team/s they work with.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Planning and development of project requirements and documentation as specified and to a high standard and level of detail.
- Ensuring the project produces the scoped products/deliverables to the required standard of quality according to the documented acceptance criteria, within specified constraints of time and cost.
- Management, leading and motivating project teams, to ensure successful execution of project activities against the project schedule.
- Project delivery to agreed schedule, budget and quality using defined project management methodologies.
- Development of the project management plan and associated documentation
- Management of project outcomes as directed. Outcomes to include financial, operational and quality objectives.
- Management of stakeholders including operational staff, volunteer staff and other external project stakeholders.
- Management and compliance of project reporting systems.
- Responsibility for the identification, development and tracking of project activities
Requirements and Experience
- Highly developed project management skills
- Tertiary or relevant industry recognized project management qualification.
- Industry recognized project management qualifications, e.g. PRINCE 2, MSP, PMP etc.
- Relevant experience project managing Agile-style projects.
- More than five years relevant experience project managing large scale waterfall-style projects including successful delivery of major ICT solution and integration projects, and managing associated procurement activities.
- Understanding of gateway review or similar project review process.
- Understanding of systems delivery and project management methodologies
