About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), Oceania to be responsible for providing HR Business Partner support to create a first class, purpose driven employee experience to drive business success.
With a focus on improving the employee experience and living our values of Trust, Aspiration and Empathy this role is crucial in delivering our people strategy and programs that propel us towards our team's goal of becoming an Inclusive Employer of Choice delivering Employee Experience Excellence, creating Sustainability Transformation with Customers & Communities.
Core to success in this role is the development of strong relationships with key stakeholders and a deep understanding of Fujitsu's business operations and challenges to ensure HR is a trusted advisor to the business.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Business Partnership
- Partner with Leaders to deliver on HR and business key initiatives. This includes the management and roll out of regular HR programs.
- Be a trusted advisor to the business, using HR experience and expertise to shape both strategic and operational advice to meet business needs.
- Drive the delivery of change programs (including restructures and realignments) monitoring progress, reporting back on outcomes and providing advice and support.
- Support the business in executing engagement survey action plans and implementing initiatives that elevate and sustain high levels of employee engagement.
Employee relations
- Own complete lifecycle of current and future ER/performance management matters.
- Coach and support people leaders to develop best practice resolution skills.
- Maintain a clear understanding and provide up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which we operate.
- Leadership, development and talent management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leverage the expertise of our CoEs to deliver on talent actions including identifying key talent and implementing development and retention strategies.
- Provide coaching and insight to support the development of leaders and emerging leaders across Fujitsu.
- In conjunction with the L&D team identify, develop and deliver key learning programs to meet the future needs of the business.
- Partner with people leaders and provide data to support them in developing an informed perspective about reasons for attrition. Implement strategies within business scope for retention.
Operational Excellence
- Provide trusted, timely advice to support the business in undertaking core employee activities.
- Be an advocate for doing things the right way when it comes to people processes.
- Work with CoEs and People Operations to identify opportunities to streamline our processes and activities.
- Focus on the employee and manager experience. Identify roadblocks and challenges and work with stakeholders to address those challenges.
Desired Experience and Knowledge:
- 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Stakeholder engagement: credibility, ability to interact and influence across the business.
- Experienced HRBP, knowledgeable in employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in driving complex organisational change with resilience and agility.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with New Zealand employment relations is beneficial.
- Expert knowledge of Generalist Human Resources trends, best practice and future direction.
- Strategic business knowledge and understanding.
- Excellent communication skills and highly service orientated
- Ability to interact and influence at an executive/strategic level.
