About the role

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our fast-paced, challenging, but immensely rewarding environment. Here, you'll collaborate daily with leading industry experts, former serving Defence personnel, and professionals deeply invested in Australia's security.

  • Strategically manages high level customers and their needs. Working to understand and support the current and future needs of the Australian Defence Force.
  • Work closely with a range of stakeholders from both the Australian Defence Force and Australia's Defence Industry to drive continuous growth and provide safety and security to the people of Australia.
  • Build strategic relationships with clients, industry and vendors in order to design and deliver the best-in-market solutions to meet our customers' needs.
  • Maintains strong internal relationships across Fujitsu to ensure a seamless provision of service. Build an intimate and trusting relationship within the bid team in order to assist in the development of offerings.
  • Actively engages different vendors in search of new offerings and prospects.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • 7+ years of sales experience, ideally within a Defence Industry environment.
  • Experience in delivering bids and proposals in line with defence and federal government standards
  • A strong network, and networking skills within the industry.
  • Ability to manage and direct others towards common business goals
  • In depth understanding of the ICT sector in order to effectively deliver current and future offerings to Fujitsu customer base.
  • Ideally experience working with and understanding the ASEFCON suit of contracting templates.
  • NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance minimum! 

Ideally seeking Canberra based applicants but open to multiple major city locations.
