ABOUT THE ROLE

The strategic development team is an exciting new division of Fujitsu Digital acceleration services cloud and modern workplace arm. Utilising agile methodology and adhering to SCRUM practices, you will work with a high-performance team in the continuous improvement and support of existing software products; Macrosine and Perimeta for 365.
We are seeking a dynamic Developer to execute clear, quality code to deliver on defined objectives. Through analysis and a desire for continuous improvement you will suggest ideas and highlight opportunities for improvement to software development and testing practices to increase the efficiency of the strategic development team.
This is a great opportunity for an intermediate level Developer eager to step up and take greater ownership with a blue-chip organization!
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Participate in the DevOps framework through the creation of user stories, tasks, and bugs
- Work productively and collaboratively with team members and take ownership of assigned activities.
- Produce clean, efficient code that meets specifications, including cyber security requirements
- Contribute to the testing approach for software and applications
- Contribute to discovery, design, proposal & delivery processes for the Strategic development practise.
- Develop, implement, and test software[A1] and process-based solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and iteration of technology processes, tools, and reporting
- Contribute to discussions and workshops on the development of new features and potential solutions to identified problems
- Provide technical support for bugs and service management items and escalate as required
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Complete assigned tasks for fortnightly sprints, per SCRUM practices / DevOps board diligently and to the best of your ability
- Work collaboratively within the team to help deliver innovative solutions
- Support clients and Fujitsu consultants on realising solution value in ticket or product deployment scenarios
- Develop, maintain and improve new solutions to aid Fujitsu in making digital acceleration service offerings more profitable.
Requirements and Experience
- Languages: Heavy focus on C#, containers, Minimal APIs, .Net Core stack, PowerShell
- JavaScript / JavaScript UI frameworks
- Modern web development and frameworks (React / Vue / Bootstrap) HTML and CSS
- Entity Framework
- SQL Server.
- Excellent English based writing & communication skills
- Knowledge of the following supporting technologies such as Azure Core Services [A2] (e.g., Networking, Identity, Security and/or Policy/Governance), Microsoft 365[A3] and Windows Server roles and administration.
- Excellent [A4] understanding of software development processes and frameworks (e.g. Scrum/Agile/DevOps)
- Azure DevOps including Boards and Repositories
- Working knowledge and experience with Git
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail and time-management skills
