We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to provide chargeable services to clients by designing, implementing, and delivering turnkey Azure-based and on-premises infrastructure solutions. Focus on cloud migrations, hybrid cloud architecture, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to ensure clients receive scalable, secure, and high-performing IT environments, aligned with project-based consulting assignments.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Evaluating client's business needs, thus contributing to strategic planning of information systems facilities and software directions.
- Being accountable for defined work assignments often involving immediate action or short-term planning of human and other resources.
- Planning and coordinating resources necessary to complete product implementation and assisting in preparation of major sales proposals.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of hybrid IT solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services.
- Manage Azure cloud migration projects, assisting clients in assessing, planning, and executing the migration of workloads from on-premises environments to Azure.
- Provide expertise on Azure architecture, including compute, networking, storage, security, and identity services, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Azure Bicep to provision and manage infrastructure across both on-prem and Azure environments.
- Configure and manage Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, and Azure Storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, both on-prem and in the cloud, related to performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with clients to evaluate their existing on-prem IT infrastructure and design hybrid solutions that leverage the scalability, flexibility, and cost benefits of Azure cloud.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive technical documentation, including cloud architecture diagrams, IaC templates, migration plans, and detailed system configurations.
- Assist clients in ensuring their hybrid cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Liaising with major clients during preliminary installation and testing of developed solutions or products.
- Managing and mentoring (where necessary) a team of consultants.
- Deliver to Fujitsu's Integrated Management System.
Requirements and Experience
- 6 - 10 years of experience in business management, IT, systems integration consulting, design, coupled with a tertiary qualification.
- 2+ years experience in consulting, engagement/project management, and/or business and resource management.
- AGSVA security clearance or ability to obtain
- Specialist knowledge of several industries or segments, coupled with strong analytical skills.
- Recognised as leading expert in specialty area.
- Analysis, communication, presentation ability and Scheduling skills.
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Relevant Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Expertise in Azure platform services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Azure migration strategies and tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and implementation in Azure (e.g., role-based access control, key vault, network security).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Experience in DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex cloud issues.
