Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Performance and Resilience Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and resilience of our applications and systems. This role involves designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests, as well as identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive performance and resilience testing strategies and plans.
  • Execute performance tests using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and resilience vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to address performance and resilience issues.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and scenarios.
  • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and work with teams to implement solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers in performance and resilience testing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance and resilience testing.
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and profiling tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
