About the role

  • Baseline security clearance required.
  • Focus on data testing, cloud migration, and transformation projects

We're seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant to provide specialist testing advice and delivery across data migration and transformation initiatives. This role is accountable for managing testing activities as part of risk treatment and solution validation, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions on solution or component readiness for progression to the next development stage or production release. The role is expected to contribute to test estimation and manage multiple advanced testing areas, often in medium complexity projects.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Lead cloud data migration and testing projects, including planning and execution of test strategies
  • Allocate test activities to the appropriate resources and coordinate delivery against schedule.
  • Understand testing requirements within own areas of specialism and agree testing scope with stakeholders.
  • Accountable for delivering testing activities within budget and agreed timelines.
  • Create test plans and documentation aligned to project requirements, mitigating solution risks
  • Organize test materials, environments, tools, and resources to deliver planned testing activities
  • Report on test progress, risks, incidents, and metrics to stakeholders
  • Manage or support a test team where required
  • Undertake bid and pre-sales activities related to testing expertise or management
  • Contribute to internal testing standards and best practices
  • Remain alert to follow-on business opportunities and communicate potential new projects for Fujitsu
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies and obtain certifications as agreed within the Data & AI team

Requirements and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in test management across data projects, including migration and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience in data testing, ETL/ELT validation, and data quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and Python (Python desirable but not essential).
  • Experience with Power BI for reporting and analysis
  • Good understanding of data modelling and data integration
  • Agile delivery methodology experience
  • Strong technical skills to deliver value from underlying technology
  • Experience managing medium complexity projects and engaging with stakeholders
  • Strong consulting, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into test scenarios and validation frameworks
