  • Dedicated Apple macOS onsite support role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Onsite Technician to serve as the onsite specialist for Apple macOS support. In this role, you will deliver a range of technical support services as part of ongoing service delivery and project activities, including device installation, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and maintenance of Apple endpoints within the client environment.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Responds to customer questions regarding operation and malfunctions.
  • Advises customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction
  • Works within a team with little supervision as an established systems/product specialist (e.g. detailed knowledge of the configuration of interlinked systems, implementing technical changes, building software regimes and contributing technically to service development) to support end users.
  • Follows established processes, releasing to the change control process verified, validated and documented enhancements to eliminate problems and proactively develop the service.
  • Recognizes opportunities to improve performance against Service Level.
  • Acts as a point of escalation to resolve service delivery issues.
  • Monitors performance through statistical reporting and analysis.
  • Works within the team or under guidance from the project manager with implementation of technical designs to meet service delivery requirements within own area of responsibility.
  • Establishes working relationships with customers organization to deliver and enhance the service.
  • Takes ownership in obtaining the information, evidence and data required to diagnose and resolve more complex problems (both new and known),
  • Escalates or gains support where appropriate. Proactively analyses, trends and reports on information (e.g. on performance service levels) in a timely manner to resolve problems, maintain and enhance service.

Requirements and Experience.

  • Proven experience managing Apple macOS and iPadOS devices in an enterprise environment
  • Hands -on administration of Microsoft Intune for Apple MDM
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including authentication flows and device identity
  • Experience working with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrolment (ADE/DEP)
  • Solid understanding of Apple MDM frameworks, device lifecycle management, and ABM–Intune integration
  • Experience packaging, deploying, and updating macOS and iOS/iPadOS applications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across: enrolment, MDM issues, compliance, conditional access, and application behaviour
  • Shell and PowerShell scripting experience
  • Ability to work independently in a client facing-facing onsite role, managing stakeholders and handling escalations
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
