Our client, a well-established, family-owned company, is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations
• Provide oversight, guidance and review to staff
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
• Work closely with leadership to support business growth and financial strategy
• Identify and implement process improvements to mature financial systems
• Operate independently, with weekly check-ins but full ownership of responsibilities

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with the ability to self-manage
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable reviewing the work of others
• Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity
• Comfortable working in a non-corporate environment titles don't matter, impact does
• Experience with payroll processes, including reviewing and tax filings
