About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Linux Server Administrator to support and maintain server infrastructure in a hands-on technical environment. The successful candidate will have strong Linux administration skills and be comfortable working directly with servers, troubleshooting issues, and supporting deployment and operational processes.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers.
• Support server deployment, provisioning, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; assist with root-cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
• Assist in developing automation scripts and provisioning tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Support operating system platform design, configuration management, and high-availability initiatives.
• Participate in cloud, containerization, and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Assist with capacity planning, security compliance, risk assessments, and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Network, Security, and Systems teams to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvement.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux server administration. 
• Solid knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, and troubleshooting. 
• Experience working in on-premises or hybrid infrastructure environments. 
• Some exposure to performance monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, or system provisioning tools.
• Awareness of security best practices (hardening, least privilege) and compliance standards.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, virtualization, or hybrid environments is a plus.
• Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams.
• Willingness to learn incident management practices in production environments.
• Eagerness for continuous learning and professional growth in evolving technologies.
