About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Drafter to translate sketches, markups, and instructions into accurate CAD drawings and construction documentation. This production-focused role works closely with the design lead and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and familiarity with U.S. drafting standards, including the Imperial measurement system.
Work Arrangement: Part-time, based in Curitiba, Brazil.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, four hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and update architectural drawings and construction documents in AutoCAD.
- Translate sketches, markups, and instructions into accurate drawings.
- Apply revisions and ensure files align with existing project standards.
- Maintain organized drawing sets and naming conventions.
- Support residential, hospitality, and institutional projects.
- Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly.
- Collaborate closely with the design lead to ensure high-quality delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related platforms.
- Advanced or fluent English, with confidence participating in daily conversations with a U.S.-based team.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and accurately reflect design intent.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and file management.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time setting.
- Willingness to work with the Imperial measurement system.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with residential, hospitality, or institutional projects.
- Familiarity with construction document sets for single-family residential projects.
- Experience converting drawings between CAD formats or programs.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling tools.
- Previous experience working with U.S. architectural standards.
