About the Role:

We are seeking a self-motivated and hands-on Office & Accounting Administrator to support daily office operations and key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement:
Temp-to-perm, full-time, on-site in Newark, NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, payment tracking, reconciliations, and billing issues.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely invoice processing, vendor payments, and accurate records.
  • Manage daily office operations and maintain an organized, efficient work environment.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and internal documentation.
  • Coordinate shipments, inventory tracking, warehouse communications, and logistics.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support planning with purchasing and warehouse teams.
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to support daily operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in office administration, accounting support, operations, or a related role.
  • QuickBooks experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, including AR and AP.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable working independently.
