Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to design and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion. The role will involve developing structural systems for residential and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural systems for steel, wood, and other materials in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform site assessments, load calculations, and ensure structural integrity using AutoCAD and other relevant tools.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and adhere to building codes and safety regulations to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other structural design tools.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Experience with structural materials such as steel and wood.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with materials testing.
- Familiarity with other engineering design software.
