About the Role:
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to manage global regulatory, legal, and financial compliance within a complex multinational structure. This role requires expertise in multi-jurisdictional compliance, fund management, contracts, and risk mitigation. The Compliance Officer will collaborate with legal, finance, investment, and project teams to ensure regulatory adherence across international entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure global compliance with legal, financial, and operational standards.
- Design and implement global compliance policies to meet international
regulations. - Conduct internal audits and regular evaluations across multiple jurisdictions to assess compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee tax compliance, corporate governance, and audit readiness.
- Manage contracts, regulatory filings, and dispute resolution processes.
- Ensure adherence to investment fund regulations and agreements while
collaborating with fund managers and compliance consultants on financial structures. - Monitor compliance in multi-jurisdictional operations and ensure regulatory standards are met for all project milestones.
- Oversee GDPR, U.S., and regional data protection compliance.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for deals, identifying and mitigating risks in collaboration with legal teams.
- Submit compliance reports to maintain transparency and prevent penalties.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Compliance Officer, Risk management,
- Compliance Officer Project in Legal advisory, or internal auditing, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Bachelor's degree in law, Business, Finance, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of international compliance frameworks experience in multi-jurisdictional compliance management, including experience working with global regulatory bodies.
- Expertise in contract law, fund management, and financial regulations for cross border business operations.
- Experience working with global financial and legal regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage risks across jurisdictions.
- Flexible to work across different time zones and to travel for business.
- International experience with a background in working across different
countries. - Advanced English, with two additional languages as a plus
- Proficient in Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects remotely.
