About the Role:

As a Financial Compliance Specialist, you'll ensure global regulatory adherence, minimizing financial risks and ensuring transparency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with international financial regulations, tax laws, and multi-jurisdictional financial reporting requirements.
  • Oversee internal audits to ensure adherence to tax and regulatory frameworks in all operational regions.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and compliance officers to oversee financial agreements, contracts, and tax structures.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies to mitigate financial risks and prevent regulatory breaches.
  • Monitor global financial regulations, ensuring timely adaptation to new compliance requirements.
  • Implement processes to minimize financial risks, ensuring financial stability across all global operations.
  • Maintain a transparent financial reporting framework, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Support the investment team in structuring financial deals to comply with international tax and regulatory frameworks.
  • Develop risk assessment models to identify potential legal and financial risks across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure proper fund allocation and adherence to financial compliance policies.
  • Prepare financial risk and compliance reports for senior management, identifying potential financial exposure areas.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local and international tax laws.
  • Work with the Project Management Office (PMO) to track fund utilization and compliance in ecosystem projects.
  • Work closely with investment managers, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to streamline compliance efforts.
  • Support the Investment Strategy Manager in monitoring fund disbursement and milestone achievements.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure optimal tax efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in pre-IPO financial due diligence, ensuring compliance with listing regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial compliance, risk management, or regulatory auditing
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of global financial regulations, tax laws, and multi-jurisdictional compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with internal audits, financial reporting, and regulatory filings in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment modeling, financial transparency frameworks, and fraud prevention.
  • Experience working in venture capital, fund management, or fintech compliance (preferred).
  • Knowledge of AI-driven financial tools, fintech solutions, or blockchain-based compliance systems (a plus).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and other financial reporting standards.
  • Flexible to work across different time zones and to travel for business.
  • International experience with a background in working across different countries.
  • Advanced English, with two additional languages as a plus
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency remotely.
