Job Description:
We are looking for a Part-Time Virtual Clinical Trial Navigator (Registered Nurse) based in the Philippines to provide one-on-one support to patients and families navigating the clinical trial process. This role requires strong communication, patient advocacy, and coordination skills, as well as experience in clinical research, patient education, or healthcare navigation. The ideal candidate will assist patients in finding suitable trials, answering questions, and facilitating communication between research teams and participants.
This is a remote, part-time position with the opportunity to transition to full-time. Candidates must be willing to work overlapping hours with USA time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized guidance to patients and families considering
clinical trials.Assist in trial searches, helping patients identify suitable studies base
on their diagnosis, medical history, and location.Answer questions regarding trial participation, including eligibility,
safety, travel, expenses, and potential risks.Identify primary point of contact for clinical trial enrollment at various
locations.Facilitate communication between patients and research teams,
ensuring a smooth connection with study coordinators.Offer patient education and resources to help participants understand
the trial process and make informed decisions.Advocate for patients’ needs, ensuring they receive the best possible
support throughout the clinical trial journey.
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) based in the Philippines with clinical
experience (oncology, clinical research, or patient navigation experience
preferred.)Understanding of clinical trials, research protocols, and patient
eligibility
criteria.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
provide compassionate guidance to patients and families.Experience in patient education, advocacy, or case management is
a plus.Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
Ability to work remotely, with a stable internet connection and
professional setup.Availability to work part-time with overlapping hours in USA time zones.
