Product Designer

We're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Product Designer to join our friendly and collaborative engineering team of Product Designers and Software Engineers based in Thessaloniki, Athens and Eindhoven.

We're a mix of backgrounds and experiences, but we all share a love for building great products and a commitment to continuous improvement. We're a hybrid or remote team, and we value open communication, collaboration, and a supportive environment.

About the role

As a Product Designer at the fromScratch Studio, you will have the opportunity to impact the success of many trusted, and upcoming companies, by exploring solid solutions, design engaging experiences and high quality interfaces. As a team, we focus on empathizing with the three aspects of products: user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. We are always looking for the why in every action, seeking data to remove assumptions, validate hypotheses, and de-risk every design decision in order to create awesome products that achieve the right metrics. By applying user-centric and data-informed design methodologies, you will be able to provide end-to-end solutions that actually solve problems.

You will be working within with the Product, Research, Design and Development teams to formulate concept solutions and turn them into high-fidelity designs, giving the right attention to detail. Thats why this role requires high skills in interaction design while working with key industry tools to help shape many products at a fast-moving pace. Your expertise in Design Systems will be crucial for ensuring consistency, and scalability, and facilitating efficient design processes.

What you'll do

• Run the design process, from brainstorming and concept formation to high-fidelity interactive designs.
• Work as a core member of the Product, Design and Research team to co-create solutions and translate them into high-quality, impactful designs
• Empathize with user needs and research the competitive landscape to generate solutions.
• Conduct workshops with the team in order to iterate and optimize solutions.
• Provide a creative mindset that aims for innovation.
• Keep up a fast-moving pace of experimentation and decision-making.
• Handoff to developers for high-quality implementation.
• Help to grow our design team and improve our processes.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design.
• Prior experience working in-depth on digital products with a company, startup, studio, or agency.
• Experience in creating end-to-end flows with high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Experience and adaptiveness to key industry tools, like Figma, Miro, Notion, etc.
• Experiment with AI tools for rapid exploration, prototyping, and automations
• Ability to articulate design decisions based on existing user data, objectives, and metrics.
• An iterative mindset and openness to receive feedback, learn, and adapt.
• Ability to think with a methodical approach and attention to detail.
• Passion for continuous self-growth and knowledge seeking.
• Ability to work with autonomy, and really enjoy the creative process.
• Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading in English and Greek.
