PTFI Internship Program

We are looking for 12 months study program by online/working from home (WFH), full time Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026, as listed below:

As an IT Business Solution Analyst Intern at PT Freeport Indonesia, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the mining industry while contributing to our digital transformation efforts. This internship will provide you with exposure to various aspects of IT, business analysis, and the mining sector.

Requirements:

• Active student in D4/S1
• Minimum GPA 2.80 from scale 4.00
• Must obtain approval from the university to take part in the program by attaching an official letter from the university
• Committed to join the program for 12 months full time (Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026)
• In physically and mentally healthy condition
• Good behaviour and communication

• Copy of transcript (minimum GPA 2.80 from scale 4.00)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Major Accreditation Certification from BAN PT
• Recent 3X4 photo with blue background
• Copy of ID (KTP) and Family Card (KK)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into IT requirements.
2. Data Analysis: Analyze data related to mining operations and business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
3. System Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation and selection of IT solutions that align with business objectives and operational requirements.
4. Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements using technology.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT solutions, requirements, and processes.
6. Testing: Participate in testing activities, including test case creation, execution, and issue tracking.
7. Support: Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot IT-related issues, and assist in resolving technical problems.
8. Training: Assist in developing training materials and delivering training sessions to end-users.
9. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest innovative solutions

Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
5. Basic knowledge of business analysis concepts is a plus.
6. Enthusiasm for learning about the mining industry and its IT requirements.
