The purpose of this position is:

Provide a range of specialist, professional technical high quality training and assessment services to a culturally diverse range of customers. Contribute as a specialist professional team member to a larger team of educational and training professionals, always demonstrating those behaviors that fully support PTFI values, SHE policies and procedures.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

  1. Demonstrate behaviors that match PTFI Values, follow and apply PTFI SHE policies and procedures, to be a role model for training program participants.
  2. Demonstrate competence in the principles and application of safety risk based and competency-based learning, so that development programs created, delivered and assessed to meet CBT standards.
  3. Competently provide and deliver a range of specialist, technical, professional services in field of expertise to meet department and customer needs, and quality standards.
  4. Assist to create safety risk based and competency-based learning materials ensuring such learning materials and programs created achieve the learning outcomes.
  5. Assist to create safety risk based and competency-based assessment tools ensuring such competency assessments achieve the learning outcomes.
  6. Understand and competently apply principles of adult learning in all professional services provided
  7. Accurately record and report services provided so that service provision records are consistently kept up to date and regularly reported.
  8. Respond to customer inquiries so that services provided meet or exceed customer requirements.
  9. Provide specialist professional technical support services and advice according to the approved quality standards, set policies and procedures, required time frames and allocated budget to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  10. Provide service feedback to customers and clients in a friendly, timely and professional manner, to help customers and clients achieve job targets and job competency improvements.

  • Managing multiple character of people on one on one or group discussion and presentation.
  • Effectively coaching direct learners and colleagues to reach the required level of professional competence.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree (S1) with at least 5 years directly related professional work experience as training instructor or assessor.
  • Demonstrated competence in field expertise.
