Position Title : Mobile Equipment Instructor & Assessor
Work Location : Gresik, East Java
Employment Type : 6-month contract based with possibility extension
The purpose of this position:
- Conduct onboarding process to ensure the target are meet, especially related with Competency Check by conducting competency test according to requirements.
- Ensure onboarding process, especially related with Competency Check activities for contractor and permanent employee is run safe and clean, so that productivity of operation can run optimally.
- Professionally create, review, update, and deliver competency-based learning and assessment to a culturally diverse range of learners in on job and off job situations.
- Contribute as a recognized technical expert member of a larger team of educational professionals, always demonstrating those behaviors that fully support Company Values and PTFI SHE policies and procedures.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position:
- Demonstrate behaviors that match Company Values, follow, and apply PTFI SHE policies and procedures, and legal requirements to be a role model for development program and assessment participants.
- Conduct analysis to verify position that require verification-based or skill information from contract or scope of work.
- Professionally deliver/facilitate on and off the job Competency Based Development in field of expertise to meet PTFI customer development and technical assessment needs and quality standards.
- Assist to create competency-based learning materials or tools so that learning programs delivered achieve their intended learning outcomes.
- Monitoring process On Job Training in field and verify the result.
- Performs portfolio check and practical tests.
- Weekly & Monthly report regarding contractor competency & licensing process.
- Accurately record and report participant learning and assessment results so that participant records are consistently kept up to date and recorded in the company learning management system.
- Develop training and assessment material refer to national or industry standard.
The key challenges in this position:
- Consistently delivering learning and assessment activities that truly achieve the specific learning outcomes for job competencies.
- Managing learning situations that vary from one-on-one coaching to group delivery.
- Effectively coaching learners & colleague Instructors to reach the required level of competence and professionalism to competently do their respective jobs.
- Sensitively and professionally working with learners form a wide range of cultures.
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
- Graduated minimum Senior High School, with 10 years Experiences in manufacturing or mining industry and 5 years in operating mobile equipment.
- Having license for all equipment required as ruled by Area/Safety Manager (related Operations equipment):
- Government Certification related to applied mobile Equipment (i.e SIO Forklift, SIO Wheel Loader and SIM B2)
- Government Certification for Assessor.
- Experienced in training and assessment development.
- English beginner level for both writing and speaking.
- Computer Literate (MS-Office, familiar with CMMS (ex. SAP) will be an advantage.)
