Basic Function :
Coordinate, organize, and liaise with Central Services Engineering (CSE) in providing excellent NOLA engineering design services, including steel requirement for project support during construction phase for all Jobsite areas, in order to ensure the achievement of the customers' needs and requirements within the budget and time frame according to company's policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility :
- Coordinate and monitor sequence drawing for large capital projects in coordination with NOLA Engineering and CSE in order to ensure correct sequence drawing order to smooth project execution.
- Review and check NOLA engineering and CSE design in coordination with Designer to ensure drawing code standards are matched with PTFI standard.
- Coordinate and analyze with Central Services Engineering (CSE) and also recommend necessary adjustment to superior, in order to ensure all NOLA engineering design are applicable with actual condition.
- Build and maintain communication with outsource vendor and Light Industrial Park (LIP) in order to ensure the sequence of steel fabrication are met with the project's requirements, standards and priority.
- Prepare and develop steel fabrication progress report in timely manner, in order to provide information on the steel fabrication progress and problems that might be occurred during the project execution.
- Organize and monitor salvage equipment from existing to new project in order to support cost saving from salvage operations.
- Communicate and negotiate with the project stakeholder about the required quality standards, estimated budget and project duration & schedule in order to provide customer success and on time schedule.
- Coordinate and develop the material take-off and help the material procurement process in order to ensure that all materials required for the project will be available according to the project plan.
- Monitor and control any relevant changes of the project scope of works and communicate these changes to Project and Cost Control for further process.
- Apply, communicate, and control the implementation of company's safety and environmental policies and procedures.
The key challenges in this position include :
- Ability to handle urgent request from management which conflict with existing schedule.
- Ability to provide steel requirement sequence in correct fashion.
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are :
Minimum Education and Experience
- S1 degree in Engineering with 2 years experience in related field.
