Position Title : Technical Training Officer
Work Location : Gresik, East Java
Employment Type : 6-month contract based with possibility extension
The purpose of this position:
- Ensure alignment of technical competency with required training to ensure sustainable safe production.
- To monitor and manage technical skill identification and technical training execution.
- Maintain technical training record, evaluation and competency database.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position:
- Participate to implement the policy of quality, safety & health and environment within the company.
- Comply and obey with Legal requirements related with Quality, Environmental and Health Policy and other relevant documents in the Company.
- Conduct technical skill identification process and verify position with the required skill and coordinating to conduct training to perform the job.
- Coordinate with Department PIC to Conduct technical skill evaluation to measure employees skill readiness and maintain the record in database.
- Design and organize technical training to fulfill required skill and compliance regulation.
- Develop and deliver training about general technical training and improvement of process in implementation
- Monitoring OJT process in field and verify the result of OJT in order to do nomination for Skill Evaluation
- Weekly & Monthly report regarding contractor competency & licensing process
The key challenges in this position:
- Ability to create and maintain relationship with the Operation Unit (Plant, Maintenance, Safety), supporting department and third-party contract to achieve company targets.
- Ability to provide accurate and timely response if there is a problem on a site with the motto simple, faster and better.
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
- Bachelor/Diploma degree (D3/S1) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrument/Metalurgy, chemical /Industrial Engineer, with minimum 2 years Experiences in smelter industry and 3 years vocational or operation practice and train others.
- Possessing good hands-on and analytical skill, have quick and enthusiastic learner, good coordination, attentive to detail, disciplined.
- Fair in English
- Understand improvement methodology and its implementation.
- Computer Literate (MS-Office, familiar with CMMS (ex. SAP) will be an advantage.)
