PTFI Internship Program

We are looking for 12 months study program by online/working from home (WFH), full time Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026, as listed below:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Application/Software Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop your skills, and contribute to meaningful software solutions using HTML5, Bootstrap, Flutter, and Microsoft Technology (ASP .Net, Azure Cloud Platform, SQL Server, etc.) and learn Agile process.

Requirements:

• Active student in D4/S1
• Minimum GPA 2.80 from scale 4.00
• Must obtain approval from the university to take part in the program by attaching an official letter from the university
• Committed to join the program for 12 months full time (Mid of February 2025 to Mid of February 2026)
• In physically and mentally healthy condition
• Good behaviour and communication

Documents Requirement:

• Letter from University (addressed to PT Freeport Indonesia - Learning & Organizational Development - Internship Program)
• Copy of transcript (minimum GPA 2.80 from scale 4.00)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Major Accreditation Certification from BAN PT
• Recent 3X4 photo with blue background
• Copy of ID (KTP) and Family Card (KK)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coding and Development: Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining code for various software applications.
2. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs in existing software.
   
3. Documentation: Create and update documentation for software features and processes.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
5. Learning and Development: Continuously learn new programming languages, tools, and technologies.
6. Testing: Participate in the testing process to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
7. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and learn best practices.
8. User Support: Assist in providing technical support to users and resolving any issues they encounter.
9. Project Management: Help in managing project timelines and deliverables under the guidance of a mentor or supervisor.
10. Innovation: Contribute ideas for new features or improvements to existing software.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Programming Skills: Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, Bootstrap, Flutter) and/or backend programming using C#, ASP .Net MVC, Web API/REST.
3. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
4. Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
5. Basic Knowledge of Databases: Understanding of database management systems and SQL.
6. Having strong algorithm programming, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
