Management Information System - Sr Engineer, Network Management #1

This position is to perform voice and data network activities for PTFI, providing other team within MIS with technical assistance to ensure maximum availability, reliability and security of PTFI network as part of the global FCX network. To ensure the network performs to a high standard in conjunction with the company's goals.

Education and Certification

Degree: Bachelors degree in engineering, Information Technology or a related field and Exp 5-10 years

Certifications: Certifications Must like Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

• Network Designing and Implementation : Creating detailed design scalable, reliable network architectures , implement new network solutions or upgrade existing infrastructure and ensuring their meet technical specifications and corporate standards.

• Installation and Supervision : Overseeing the installation to ensure that network devices (switches, access points, Call Managers) are correctly configured, and that the performance is optimal. Capable of making significant contributions by collaborating effectively with project managers, field technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

• Network Management and Maintenance : Manage network device , Performing routine inspection and functionality of Business devices and implementing measured maintenance to avoid potential issues and ensure optimal availability through monitoring.

• Troubleshooting and Issues Diagnosis : Identify and resolving complex network issues to minimize downtime and maintain service quality. Providing long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.

• Documentation and Reporting : Create technical documentation, network diagram, performance report. Consistently updating system records to accurately reflect any modifications or upgrades made to the Business network installation.

• Team Knowledge and Coordination : Mentor junior engineers in resolving technical tasks, collaborate with other IT team to support business needs and Sharing best practices and new developments in Bussniess technology with the team to enhance overall expertise

Skills and Competencies

• Technical Skills : Solid knowledge of fundamental of routing, switching, BGP ,OSPF SD-WAN, VRF,WLC, security principles and industry-standard software.

• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues.

• Communication : Effective communication skills for leading teams and training staff.

• Organizational Skills : Ability to manage projects and maintain schedules efficiently.

Work Environment

• Sr. Network Management works in the office, underground mine operations, field sites, and sometimes in challenging conditions.
• The job requires being on a night shift, 24/7 and on-call to address urgent issues
