This profile will have responsibility in technical support / field engineering for GBC rail operation & maintenance to achieve rail maintenance and repair goal in Railway Track and Haulage GBC mine

The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  • Review and ensure rail track maintenance plan, including the project's AFE documents to further plan and schedule of manpower and supervisory responsibility (project breakdown) for rail maintenance work to ensure that maintenance works accommodate all project requirement according to schedule and budgeted man-hours and meets company safety standards and procedures Rail Maintenance Project.
  • Review and ensure material and equipment utilization plan/requirements, including Material Take Offs (MTO) and schedule material delivery accordingly to ensure that material provision is in line with project schedule in Rail Maintenance Project.
  • Provide input and work closely with rail MTC crew in prepare and estimate monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for work in Rail maintenance to provide target and guidelines for specific work completion
  • Review rail design drawings, prepare as-built drawings (whenever necessary changes are made) and control its field rail maintenance work to make sure that the as built construction is according to the design and that required by the client, including ensure proper changes and the revisions are properly recorded and filed in Rail Maintenance Project
  • Control work quantity and quality of rail maintenance performance according with GBC production requirement

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in civil / mechanical engineering or business with 2 years experiences in UG Mining or Associate degree in Engineering (D3) with minimum experience of total 5 years.
  • Experience in UG construction project
  • Experience in setting up scheduling systems, running projects and business management.
