About the job Power Generation & Transmission - Control Room Ops Coal Plant
This position is responsible for controlling and providing operational monitoring, support, and direction to the Station Equipment Operator and reports directly to the General Foreman CRO.
The objective is to perform operational corrective and predictive maintenance to optimize Coal Power Plant operations, ensure availability, and comply with company policies, safety standards, goals, and regulatory permits.
Requirements:
Education and Experiences:
1. Graduate of a Senior Technical High School with > 5 years of experience at Coal Power Plant operations as Station Equipment Operator.
2. Holds a Diploma (D3) with > 3 years of relevant experience in Coal Power Plant operations.
3. Holds a Bachelors degree (S1) with > 2 years of experience in Coal Power Plant operations.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of all aspects of Coal Power Plant operations
2. Proficient in basic electrical, mechanical, chemical, and control system principles.
3. Capable of reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and control system drawings.
4. Demonstrate strong leadership.
5. Demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
6. Proficient in computer usage for reporting, including knowledge of LOTOTO processes, and PI systems.
7. Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
8. Capable of conceptual design and cost estimation.
9. Able to develop engineering designs and detailed material procurement plans.
