Freelan is a rapidly growing technology company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with our frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop backend solutions for web and mobile applications

- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver quality solutions

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner

- Optimize application performance and scalability

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in backend development

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Assist in the planning and estimation of development tasks

- Continuously improve development processes and tools

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development

- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, or Node.js

- Experience with database design and management (SQL or NoSQL)

- Familiarity with front-end languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Attention to detail and a passion for writing clean and efficient code
