Specialist Product Documentation

Purpose of the job

Ensure maintenance of the global products documentation. The system consists of a complex network of applications integrating SAP-PLM functionalities with documents management systems and SAP based customer portals.

Key accountabilities

• Support the system owner and responsible persons for related business activities, such as business administration, data entry, document maintenance, implementation activities, user management and software validation.
• Align activities with related areas and act as interface to IT and other stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Assist with monitoring and tracking new functionality (inclusive of enhancement requests) with each new release of the system.
• Support the development of procedure documents and best practices
• Assist with identifying user requirements and use cases (in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders)

Critical competencies

• SAP-PLM expertise
• Programming languages knowledge (e.g. Python, PHP)
• Ability to work with computer systems (EDM, SAP-PLM)
• Ability to work with documentation (mainly in MS Word)
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Working independently with minimal guidance
• Accuracy and meticulousness
