Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and Design Testing Solutions : Lead the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks using UFT One, ensuring high scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Automation Strategy : Develop and implement robust test automation strategies, focusing on functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Integration & Continuous Improvement : Ensure smooth integration of UFT One frameworks into the overall testing lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines, driving continuous improvement of testing processes. Technical
- Leadership & Mentorship : Provide technical guidance to the testing and development teams, mentoring junior team members to improve their skills in test automation.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure Quality & Timely Deliverables : Manage testing timelines and ensure that automated tests are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization : Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve the efficiency of automated testing.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with performance testing and integration with other tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions and integration with cloud services.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Jenkins).
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in UFT One (Unified Functional Testing) or HP QTP, with a strong background in test automation.
- Extensive experience in software architecture, integration, and implementation of test automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of test automation best practices, CI/CD, and integration of testing tools with development workflows.
- Proficient in scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, etc.) used within UFT One for automating tests. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
