Position: Sr QA Engineer (Insurance Domain Experience)
Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a Sr QA Engineer with 10+ years of experience in QA with insurance domain to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a deep understanding of the insurance industry and its processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for insurance software applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues
- Perform regression testing and maintain test environments
- Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing activities
- Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and procedures
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 5 years in the insurance domain
- Strong knowledge of insurance industry processes and regulations
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time
- Relevant certifications in software testing and quality assurance will be an added advantage
