Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to support the development and delivery of IT solutions. You will collaborate closely with solution architects, delivery managers, and infrastructure teams to build, enhance, and support systems that meet business needs and ensure operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Delivery
- Collaborate with the GI Delivery Manager and Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement applications supporting business requirements.
- Build scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Support integration across systems and services.
System Support & Operations
- Monitor and manage production systems, ensuring incidents and problems are resolved within defined SLAs.
- Provide post-production support and troubleshoot system issues.
- Work closely with infrastructure and development teams to maintain system stability.
Process & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to SDLC practices (Waterfall & Agile), development standards, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of J2EE/JEE development.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or Node.js (advantageous).
- Familiar with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with web services and build tools (e.g., Maven).
- Cloud & DevOps (Preferred)
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience setting up DevOps pipelines is an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience
- 3–5 years of application development and/or post-production support experience.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (Waterfall & Agile).
- Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage.
- Certifications (Optional but Advantageous)
- Certified Java Developer.
- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS).
