Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain complex cloud environments within Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) infrastructure for AI workloads.
  • Ensure secure and stable connectivity between internal government systems and AI platforms/tools.
  • Perform system maintenance, monitoring, and optimization to ensure reliable AI model performance.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols for AI data handling and model deployment.
  • Conduct technical due diligence and evaluation of AI technologies, frameworks, and vendor solutions.
  • Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate AI model feasibility and performance before deployment.
  • Perform stress testing of AI vendor APIs, model endpoints, and third-party AI integrations.
  • Document technical findings and provide recommendations for AI technology adoption.
  • Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for AI model training and inference.
  • Write robust and scalable code to support reliable data movement between source systems and AI models.
  • Implement MLOps practices for AI model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Build and maintain AI model serving infrastructure and API endpoints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related technical roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python with hands-on experience in AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure for AI workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices, model deployment, and monitoring.
  • Experience with API development and integration, especially for AI services.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline tools and ETL processes for AI applications.
  • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Government technology standards, AI governance frameworks, or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI practices, bias detection, and AI model interpretability/explainability techniques is preferred.
  • Experience implementing AI solutions in government or public sector environments is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple AI projects and experiments simultaneously.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to data security and AI best practices.
