M02 - IT Security Officer

Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support security operations, risk management, and compliance within a government-regulated environment. The role focuses on threat detection, vulnerability management, and maintaining security posture using Trend Micro solutions cybersecurity frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Risk Management

• Conduct security assessments and audits aligned with IM8 and government standards.
• Provide security advisory and risk mitigation recommendations.

Security Operations & Incident Response

• Monitor security tools (IDS/IPS, SIEM) and respond to incidents.
• Enforce security policies and maintain security documentation.
• Review VAPT reports and drive remediation.

Trend Micro & SOCaaS Operations

• Manage Trend Micro Cloud One suite and SOCaaS services.
• Coordinate onboarding, vendor management, and SLA performance.
• Support security incident investigations with SOC teams.

Security Governance & Monitoring

• Support vulnerability management and CSOC/SOAR operations.
• Conduct log reviews and firewall/EPP rule reviews.
• Provide security guidance for system architecture and design.

Requirements

• ~2+ years experience in cybersecurity, risk, or security operations.
• Experience with Trend Micro security solutions and security monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with IM8, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanning.
• Strong incident response and risk management skills.

Preferred

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH.
• Experience in government or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with GovTech security platforms and processes.
