G08 - Product Manager (Finance ERP / Digital Transformation)

Responsibilities

Project & Product Planning

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with vendors
• Lead feature planning and prioritisation based on user feedback, business impact, technical complexity, and regulatory requirements
• Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans through task decomposition and prioritisation
• Contribute to overall product vision and delivery strategy

Product Strategy & Performance

• Partner with stakeholders to define product roadmaps, success metrics, and performance benchmarks
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
• Maintain structured documentation and ensure effective knowledge management practices

Problem Prioritisation & Impact Assessment

Evaluate and prioritise issues based on user impact, business value, feasibility, resource requirements, and strategic alignment

Agile Delivery

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Work with users to define clear acceptance criteria and Definition of Done
• Monitor technical debt and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance

Technical Analysis & Risk Management

• Perform gap analysis between vendor solutions and product requirements
• Identify integration challenges, customisation needs, and technical risks
• Analyse user pain points, operational gaps, and service journeys to recommend practical solutions aligned with business goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of product management experience, preferably with Finance ERP platforms
• Experience delivering at least one full cycle of Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall implementation
• Strong experience in digital transformation projects, ideally within government or regulated environments
• Proficient in translating business requirements into system functionality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Nice to Have

• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, Product Management, or equivalent
• Experience in financial services (e.g. banking, insurance)
• Certifications in major ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle
