Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to build scalable, cloud-native applications and modern digital solutions. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from designing and developing frontend and backend applications to deploying and maintaining solutions in AWS. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern engineering practices, AI-assisted software development, and building reliable, high-performance systems using cloud and DevOps technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and modern component-based architectures.
- Build responsive, scalable, and maintainable frontend and backend solutions that deliver excellent user experiences.
- Leverage AI coding agents and agentic engineering tools to improve software development productivity, while reviewing and validating AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
- Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on AWS, utilising services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, and other managed services.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and continuous delivery.
- Build and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor application performance, reliability, and system health through logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, cloud services, AI-assisted development practices, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-stack software development using Next.js and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of modern web development principles, component-based architecture, and responsive application design.
- Experience using AI coding agents or agentic engineering tools to augment software development workflows, with the ability to review and validate AI-generated code.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, or equivalent cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud application deployment, infrastructure management, and security best practices.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.
- Proficiency with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar.
- Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile software development environments.
