  • Support alignment between design components and their coded counterparts.

Enablement & Adoption

  • Support product designers in using the design system effectively in their day-to-day work.
  • Create clear documentation, guidelines, and examples to drive adoption.
  • Advocate for the design system across teams and help embed it into product workflows.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in existing product designs and the design system.
  • Iterate on the system based on product learnings, user feedback, and team input.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in design systems, accessibility, and UX.

Requirements

  • Experience working closely with engineers in a product development environment.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma), including component libraries and design tokens.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for enterprise, government, or complex workflow-based products.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g. React, CSS, design tokens) to better collaborate with engineers.
  • Experience setting up design system governance models.
