About the job UI/UX Engineer (Oversea Program-VN)
- Developing user interfaces for websites, applications, and other digital platforms with a focus on enhancing usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
- Creating graphics, icons, illustrations, and other visual elements that align with the overall design concept and branding guidelines. Selecting appropriate colour palettes and typography that complement the brand identity and enhance readability and visual hierarchy.
- Arranging elements on screens or pages to achieve a balanced and harmonious composition while ensuring a clear and logical flow. Designing interfaces that adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices, ensuring a consistent user experience across platforms.
- Creating low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts before final implementation.
- Collaborating with UX designers and researchers to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points to inform the design process.
- Developing and maintaining style guides or design systems that provide guidelines for consistent design elements, interactions, and brand elements.
- Conducting or participating in usability testing to gather feedback and insights on design effectiveness and make iterative improvements.
- Ensuring designs are accessible to users with disabilities, following accessibility guidelines and best practices.
- Embracing an iterative design approach, refining and evolving designs based on user feedback and testing.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience of working as a Visual/UI/Web Designer.
- Degree or Diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in graphic design principles, including layout, composition, colour theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your ability to design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for websites, applications, and other digital products.
- Advanced knowledge of design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, or other industry-standard tools
- Understanding user needs and preferences and incorporating them into the design process to create intuitive and effective user experiences.
