G14 - Senior Full Stack Developer

The primary function of this role would be to review, design and implement cloud-native features for this geospatial platform across multiple deployments in different environments, to achieve business objectives of scalability, security and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them to fit-for-purpose solutions
• Review existing cloud systems and solutions to identify areas for improvement
• Design interfaces with external systems
• Develop and review application code
• Implement solutions for observability, monitoring, and fault-tolerance
• Engage developers and business leaders to ensure solutions are compliant
• Document architecture and design decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
• Experience in AWS Product Offerings
• Experience in Observability technologies
• Proficiency in serverless/event-driven architecture
• Architecture diagrams and communication with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Python or Typescript
• Experience with SQLAlchemy ORM and Async Python (for Python proficiency)
• Experience with software engineering and systems design
• Experience with implementing best practices for systems security
